1. Turning Down the Anxiety Alarm

The brain uses chemical messengers to decide when to stay alert and when to settle down. One of these is cholecystokinin, or CCK, which participates in anxiety and stress responses. Animal experiments link GB-115’s calming activity to this signalling system.

In a 28-day, placebo-controlled study involving 220 people with anxiety associated with neurasthenia or adjustment disorder, the tablet formulation improved anxiety scores more than placebo. Measures of fatigue also favoured the active treatment.

These findings give substance to the interest in less tension and less of the exhausted feeling that can accompany it. They concern the specific patients and tablets studied; they do not establish the same effects for this research powder.

3. More Room for Attention

When anxiety keeps pulling attention back to worries, even straightforward tasks can feel demanding. A small study of 25 people with generalized anxiety disorder reported improvements in attention tests and reaction speed during GB-115 treatment.

That makes calm alongside clearer attention an interesting part of its profile. The study had no comparison group, so the results cannot separate a direct effect on attention from reduced anxiety or familiarity with the tests.
