Caapi – Caupuri Vine

11,50 20,00

Cut shoots of the legendary B.Caapi. They come from "Caupuri" plants of Brazil. Characteristic of these botanical specimens are the large knots they exhibit along their length. One of the strongest Brazilian Caapi varieties. These stems were planted 25 years ago. They are grown and harvested ethically and sustainably. They have not been processed in any way, it is the original Caapi Vine.

Description

The climbing Banisteriopsis Caapi grows naturally in the wild rainforests of Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. When fully mature, its size can exceed 30 meters! Usually the plant blooms in January – its flowers feature beautiful shades of white and pink. B. caapi is considered the plant of the gods by the natives of the Amazon. The history of its use by indigenous tribes is as old and primordial as the stories of their existence. Myths, beliefs, traditions, rituals – the mythical effects of the plant have rightly made it one of the most talked about plants in human history.

Article from Ethos Herbals Wiki:  http://ethosherbals.com/wiki/smartshop/banisteriopsis-caapi-traditional-usage-and-western-world/

Read our informative article if you want to familiarize yourself with this wonderful Amazonian plant. You will learn useful information about both raw Caapi Vine and plant extracts.

Erowid Info: https://erowid.org/plants/banisteriopsis/

As you can read on the very popular and informative ethnobotanical site Erowid, Caapi bark is used in many different ways by people who know how to use this special plant. Some people use to make a tea with 5-7 grams of the bark of the plant every 4-5 days in a “microdosing” style. In this case they use the same material of 5-7 grams 3 times during the day making 3 different decoctions. We recommend you read Erowid and other sites like DMT Nexus to learn more about this legendary mystical plant. As part of the informative training we will also upload an informative article to the Ethos Herbals Wiki.

Caution! As with Syrian Rue, Caapi is a Reversible Mao-Inhibitor. This means that potentially dangerous interactions occur when the plant is combined with medications (especially antidepressants and stimulants) and psychoactive substances. Read Erowid and other sources for more information!
