Οι σπόροι της Morning Glory, επιστημονικά γνωστά ως είδη του γένους Ipomoea, είναι γνωστοί για τα έντονα άνθη τους και την ιστορική τους σημασία σε διάφορους πολιτισμούς. Περιέχουν φυσικά ενώσεις γνωστές για τις ψυχοακτιβιστικές τους ιδιότητες, χρησιμοποιούνται παραδοσιακά για πνευματικούς και ιατρικούς σκοπούς.
Το Ipomoea tricolor είναι ένα αναρριχώμενο φυτό, αυτοφυές στο Μεξικό. Αυτό το τροπικό φυτό είναι γνωστό στα ολλανδικά ως “blauwe winde” (μπλε άνεμος). Ακριβώς όπως το Argyreia nervosa (Hawaiian Baby Woodrose), η Morning Glory ανήκει στην οικογένεια convolvulaceae. Οι σπόροι εμπεριέχουν σχετικά υψηλές συγκεντρώσεις LSA (μικρότερες από τα Hawaiian Baby Woodrose σε κάθε περίπτωση) αλλά μπορούν και να καλλιεργηθούν.
