Erythrina mulungu (verna), also known as Mulungu, is a tree that grows in the tropical forests of South America – its height ranges from 10-14 meters. Beautiful red-orange flowers grow from this tree. A natural sedative is extracted from the bark and leaves of the Mulungu tree. This herbal remedy has been used for centuries in Latin America.
