Σπείρετε τους σπόρους απευθείας στον κήπο σας αφού έχει περάσει κάθε κίνδυνος παγετού. Μπορείτε να ξεκινήσετε τους σπόρους, σε εσωτερικούς χώρους όμως δεν τους αρέσει να μεταφυτεύονται. Εάν επιλέξετε την εκκίνηση σε εσωτερικό χώρο, συνιστούμε να χρησιμοποιήσετε γλάστρες τύρφης. Μεταφυτεύστε πριν αρχίσουν να βγαίνουν οι ρίζες μέσα από τη γλάστρα.

Ημέρες έως τη βλάστηση των σπόρων: 5 – 10 ημέρες.
Ιδανικό pH εδάφους: 6,0 – 7,0
Καλλιεργήστε φυτά μολόχας στον ήλιο. Ανέχονται και την εν μέρει σκίαση. Τους αρέσουν εδάφη που στραγγίζουν καλά. Προσθέστε μια γενναιόδωρη ποσότητα κομπόστ στο έδαφος πριν από τη φύτευση. Είναι ανθεκτικά στην ξηρασία, αλλά αναπτύσσονται καλύτερα με σταθερή παροχή νερού. Τα εγκατεστημένα φυτά μολόχας έχουν χαμηλή συντήρηση. Για πιο θαμνώδη ανάπτυξη, μπορείτε να κάνετε κορφολόγηση όταν πιάσουν τα 30 εκατοστά ύψος. Αποκόβετε τα άνθη που δείχνουν προβληματικά για να προωθείτε νέα μπουμπούκια.
